At 50, Mahesh Babu is making waves, not just for his upcoming film but also for his remarkable fitness. As he prepares for SS Rajamouli’s highly anticipated project, Varanasi, which was officially unveiled during a notable event in Hyderabad on November 15, he has caught the eyes of fans and media alike. The star-studded launch saw appearances from notable figures such as Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, making it a highlight of the week. The debut of Mahesh's character, “Rudhra,” has sparked a flurry of comments on social media, with many insisting he looks decades younger.
This resurgence of admiration highlights Mahesh Babu's longstanding commitment to fitness and clean eating. His youthful look is a testament to a disciplined regimen maintained over the years; he isn't one for fleeting diets or quick fixes. Insiders reveal that his dedication distinctly sets him apart in the competitive film industry.
His trainer, Kumar Mannava, elaborated on Mahesh's philosophy towards fitness, asserting that for the actor, working out isn't just a temporary pursuit for a film role. Mahesh adheres to a year-round training schedule without fail, demonstrating a genuine respect for his body.
His weekly workout plan spans five days, focusing on different body parts each day for balanced strength development. A typical session lasts an hour, but during intense training days, it can extend to ninety minutes, concluding with comprehensive stretching routines that enhance flexibility and mitigate age-related stiffness.
Simultaneously, Mahesh’s diet mirrors his workouts in simplicity and consistency. Eschewing fad diets, he opts for clean meals that sustain energy throughout his day. His meals are portioned into five to six smaller servings, two of which are nutrient-rich shakes that prevent overeating while ensuring he meets his nutritional needs.
Starting his day with oats, eggs, nuts, and fruits lays down a protein, good fats, and fiber foundation. Post-workout, he boosts recovery with protein or nutrition shakes. Lunch typically features chicken, lamb, or fish, paired with healthy grains like brown rice or quinoa. Dinner is equally straightforward, often consisting of whole-wheat or brown bread accompanied by eggs or chicken, maintaining a balanced evening meal.
This disciplined routine keeps Mahesh lean and strong year-round, steering clear of last-minute transformations before filming. It was no surprise to fans to see him vibrant and youthful at the Hyderabad event.
As excitement builds around Varanasi, Mahesh’s portrayal of Rudhra continues to spark buzz. His commitment to a healthy lifestyle serves as an inspiration, illustrating that fitness doesn't require extremes but rather a commitment to consistency, wholesome food, and self-respect.
Though the journey to the release of Varanasi is just beginning, Mahesh Babu’s fitness story is already making waves. His example resonates deeply, proving that a graceful aging process is achievable through healthy habits and unwavering discipline.
