Malaika Arora Praises Son Arhaan Khan, Shares Fun Dance Moments

Malaika Arora Praises Son Arhaan Khan, Shares Fun Dance Moments

Post by : Rameen Ariff

Bollywood’s dancing diva Malaika Arora, known for her iconic moves in songs like Chaiyya Chaiyya, Munni Badnaam Hui, and Gur Naal Ishq Mitha, recently revealed heartwarming stories about her son, Arhaan Khan. Malaika, who is back on screen with her latest dance number Poison Baby from the upcoming film Thamma, shared that her 12-year-old son often practices new dance steps and encourages her to perform with him.

Speaking at the launch of Poison Baby in Mumbai, Malaika praised Arhaan’s dancing talent, saying, “He’s fabulous when he dances. Thank God he has my dancing genes. He dances very well.” Arhaan, who she shares with her former husband Arbaaz Khan, has always been a fan of her songs, with Munni Badnaam Hui being his all-time favorite.

Malaika also revealed that while Arhaan enjoys watching her dance, he doesn’t shy away from playfully critiquing her. “He’ll say, ‘Come on, Mom, let’s do this together,’ and then he’ll make fun of me for the entire day. He’ll be like, ‘Please, you can’t dance like that,’” she said, sharing a laugh over their fun mother-son moments.

Talking about her latest number, Malaika said stepping into Poison Baby felt electrifying. “It’s been years since I led a full-blown dance number in a film. The choreography blends moves and expressions, and I wanted the performance to feel dangerous, beautiful, and untamed—all at the same time,” she added.

In Poison Baby, Malaika shares the dance floor with Rashmika Mandanna. The song, sung by Jasmine Sandlas, Sachin-Jigar, and Divya Kumar, promises a visually stunning performance. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Thamma is the fifth installment in Maddock Films’ horror-comedy universe, following hits like Stree, Bhediya, Munjya, and Stree 2. The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead role, with Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the villain, and is set to release this Diwali on October 21.

Malaika Arora’s journey continues to inspire fans with her energy, talent, and now her role as a proud mother watching her son blossom as a dancer. Fans are eagerly waiting to see her electrifying comeback in Poison Baby and the chemistry she shares with Rashmika on screen.
