Manika Vishwakarma Champions Womanhood at Miss Universe 2025

Post by : Saif Rahman

Manika Vishwakarma, representing India at Miss Universe 2025, is captivating audiences worldwide with her charm and insightful responses. Competing in the 74th Miss Universe pageant in Thailand, her poise and thoughtfulness are matched only by her stylish attire.

During a memorable “chain reaction question session” on November 16, Manika addressed a profound question reminiscent of India’s legacy in the Miss Universe contests. This question echoed a historic moment when Sushmita Sen became the first Indian to win the title in 1994, famously answering, “What is the essence of being a woman?” Now, it was Manika's turn to reflect on this timely query.

Prior to sharing her insights, Manika respectfully acknowledged Sushmita Sen's heartfelt response, highlighting how, at just 18, Sushmita articulated the essence of womanhood as the ability to nurture life and our surroundings. Manika recognized this wisdom remains relevant even today.

Expanding on Sushmita’s words, Manika expressed a vision where women should embrace their identity beyond societal expectations. She emphasized that women are multifaceted beings whose innate gifts extend to nurturing, creativity, and the capacity to amplify beauty and warmth in the world. For her, being a woman is about infinite potential, strength, and love.

Her articulate, heartfelt answer resonated deeply with the audience, echoing respect for India's pageant history while also infusing modern thoughts into the conversation. Many praised her clarity, composure, and profound grasp of womanhood.

Throughout her journey at Miss Universe 2025, Manika has become an inspiration for youth in India and around the globe. Her discourse exemplifies that beauty pageants transcend mere appearances, serving as platforms for powerful ideas and giving a voice to women. Her response underscores the belief that a woman’s worth exceeds conventional definitions, bursting with possibilities.

As the competition progresses, spectators around the globe are keenly watching, hopeful for her to bring India closer to another enviable crown. Regardless of the outcome, her impactful words will linger in the minds of many.
