Post by : Saif Rahman

Representing India at Miss Universe 2025 in Bangkok, Manika Vishwakarma has captured attention not only for her grace but also for her exquisite fashion choices. Going beyond the usual western gowns, she elegantly showcases the charm of Indian ethnic wear, winning over fans and fashion enthusiasts alike with her vibrant outfits.

The 22-year-old beauty from Rajasthan has skillfully curated an ensemble that balances heritage and modernity. Her wardrobe features an array of sarees, lehengas, anarkalis, and trendy Indian designs, each revealing a unique dimension of her personality and flair.

One particularly eye-catching outfit was a tailored palazzo ensemble designed by Varun Bahl, featuring rich brocade palazzo pants paired with a matching choli and jacket. Traditional jhumkas and a choker completed this standout look, while her voluminous hairstyle and smokey eye makeup lent a contemporary twist that perfectly blended cultural pride with chic modernity.

Manika also turned heads in a stunning peacock blue saree by designer Jigar Mali, crafted from lightweight fabric and adorned with lavish metallic embroidery. Paired with exquisite diamond and sapphire jewellery, her neatly braided hairstyle added a sophisticated touch, setting her apart from various pastel and metallic gowns.

Her lehenga selections were equally impressive, including a vibrant jacket-lehenga designed by Rajdeep Ranawat. This creation featured a structured, long-sleeved jacket, intricately embroidered with multicoloured floral designs and metallic accents. Matched with a gold skirt and traditional jewellery like a maang tika and statement choker, the outfit successfully harmonized Indian artistry with high-fashion trends.

Taking a softer approach at times, Manika donned a beautiful blush-pink lehenga set by Rianta's by Rianta Chakraborty, featuring an A-line skirt and fitted choli adorned with fine beadwork. She kept her look elegant with understated diamond jewellery, allowing the outfit's delicate artistry to take center stage. In addition, she showcased a simple floor-length anarkali embellished with golden embroidery and sequin motifs, exuding grace and sophistication.

Her ethnic wardrobe not only highlights the richness of Indian culture but also raises the standard for elegance and versatility on the international Miss Universe stage. Social media fans have expressed overwhelming admiration for her style, praising her confidence in wearing each outfit.

Manika Vishwakarma's fashion journey at Miss Universe 2025 demonstrates that traditional Indian attire can shine globally, blending vibrant hues, intricate craftsmanship, and modern aesthetics. Her choices reflect a perfect fusion of her cultural background and contemporary fashion sense, making her an outstanding representative of India in this prestigious international competition.
