Post by : Meena Ariff

The highly awaited trailer for Mardaani 3, starring Rani Mukerji, is finally here, immersing audiences in a chilling and suspenseful world where young girls vanish under mysterious circumstances. Lasting 3 minutes and 16 seconds, the trailer sees Rani reprising her iconic role as ACP Shivani Shivaji Roy, a bold and relentless police officer who will go to any lengths to bring criminals to justice.

Right from the start, the trailer sets a tense and gripping tone, depicting Shivani’s urgent race against time to rescue girls caught in a well-organized child-trafficking syndicate. The story introduces the formidable antagonist ‘Amma’, a shrewd and powerful mafia queen who controls a beggar-based criminal empire preying on children. Shivani’s pursuit of justice leads to high-stakes confrontations with Amma and her network, making the film a thrilling blend of suspense, action, and emotional intensity.

The film also features Mallika Prasad as the menacing Amma, with Janaki Bodiwala playing a key supporting role. Written by Aayush Gupta, directed by Abhiraj Minawala, and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films, Mardaani 3 promises a tightly woven narrative, stellar performances, and a compelling storyline.

The trailer showcases pulse-pounding action sequences, emotionally charged moments, and a fast-moving plot that highlights the grim realities of child trafficking. Rani Mukerji’s Shivani remains a beacon of strength and courage, willing to risk everything to save innocent lives.

The film’s release has been moved up to 30 January 2026, coinciding with Rani Mukerji’s celebration of 30 years in the film industry. Promising to be a dark, brutal, and edge-of-the-seat thriller, Mardaani 3 is set to captivate audiences with its mix of suspense, high-octane action, and strong female-led storytelling.

With the trailer already generating significant buzz, Mardaani 3 is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated crime thrillers of 2026, delivering an emotional and adrenaline-fueled cinematic experience.
