Marina Bay to Celebrate Disney Adventure With Fireworks & Fun

Marina Bay to Celebrate Disney Adventure With Fireworks & Fun

Post by : Shakul

Singapore — The iconic Marina Bay waterfront will be transformed into a vibrant nautical celebration as partners UOB, Marina Bay Sands and the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) join forces with Disney Cruise Line for a two‑month festival marking the arrival of Disney’s first cruise ship in Asia, the Disney Adventure.

Titled “Adventure Begins: A Magical Bay Celebration with Disney Cruise Line,” the festivities will run from 26 February to 30 April 2026, featuring interactive photo installations themed after Disney Cruise Line’s seven onboard areas and exclusive promotions for visitors—especially UOB cardmembers.

From 13 to 15 March 2026, Marina Bay will host a spectacular fireworks sky show that lights up Singapore’s skyline each evening at 8:30 pm. The 10‑minute show will pair dazzling pyrotechnics with a musical journey through beloved Disney tunes as iconic landmarks are illuminated in blue. Visitors can enjoy the display from vantage points across the Bay precinct.

The themed journey celebrates the Disney Adventure’s seven imaginative zones—Disney Imagination Garden, Toy Story Place, San Fransokyo Street, Town Square, Wayfinder Bay, Disney Discovery Reef, and Marvel Landing—with stunning visuals set to classics like “When You Wish Upon A Star”, “Let It Go” and “Under the Sea”.

In a nod to Singapore’s multicultural heritage, the sky show will also feature Peranakan‑inspired motifs and elements referencing the Vanda Miss Joaquim, the nation’s floral emblem.

The celebration has been curated in anticipation of the Disney Adventure’s maiden Asian voyage, scheduled to set sail from Singapore on 10 March 2026. The festival underscores Singapore’s growing role as a premier cruise hub in Asia, leveraging its world‑class infrastructure and global connectivity.

Beyond the fireworks and themed photo spots, visitors to Marina Bay can enjoy retail, dining and travel experiences with nautical twists at seven key locations including the UOB Main Branch, Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, Gardens by the Bay, and more. UOB customers have additional incentives such as limited‑edition Disney‑themed medallions and lucky draw opportunities for a three‑night cruise on the Disney Adventure.

City officials and partners say the collaboration reflects a broader effort to boost tourism and create memorable entertainment experiences for both visitors and locals, building on successful events from past years.
