Mira Rajput recently shared an emotional black-and-white photograph with her husband Shahid Kapoor, capturing a loving moment from their Karwa Chauth festivities earlier this year. The image depicts Shahid gently kissing Mira's forehead, a sweet representation of their deep bond.
Alongside this touching photo, Mira wrote a heartfelt message that struck a chord with her fans. She emphasized the significance of dreams in life—how every individual has their unique aspirations and the efforts taken to attain them, with love intertwining the journey. Mira expressed, “Life is incomplete without dreams. We each have our own; thinking about them, chasing them, and putting in hard work to realize them. Then love enters the picture, and the chase happens together. Different ambitions, yet together. You enjoy the pursuit, albeit at the cost of time spent together.”
She continued her introspective thoughts by illustrating the beauty that emerges when two partners support one another's ambitions. “That’s when the enchantment unfolds... You bask in the exhilaration of the other’s journey: shared triumphs, collective disappointments, exhaustion, celebration, joy, and the daunting fear of the impossible. It becomes clear that love is the true dream worth pursuing.”
This post highlights not just the romance between them but also the understanding and sacrifices required in navigating personal and shared dreams within a partnership.
Mira Rajput Discusses Life Since Her Marriage to Shahid Kapoor
Earlier this year, Mira was open about her experiences since tying the knot with Shahid Kapoor in 2015. She spoke candidly regarding the sudden fame and media attention that followed their marriage.
She revealed that while the media scrutiny was challenging, her focus remained on finding her footing in a new city and embracing her new circumstances. “I didn’t feel forced into this scenario. Not at all. I understood what I was stepping into. I didn’t grasp what others thought of me until a year or two later. I was somewhat unaware of the unfolding situation. Now, I'm certainly more conscious,” she reflected.
Mira was just 21 at the time of her marriage to Shahid in a private ceremony in Gurgaon on July 7, 2015. The couple has since welcomed two children—daughter Misha, born in August 2016, and son Zain, born in September 2018.
Despite the complexities of balancing celebrity life, family, and personal goals, Mira has consistently voiced how love and mutual support serve as the cornerstones of their marriage. Her recent Karwa Chauth post elegantly illustrates that, beyond ambitions, love truly remains the ultimate dream.
