Kamal Haasan Celebrates 71st Birthday with MK Stalin and Udhayanidhi

Kamal Haasan Celebrates 71st Birthday with MK Stalin and Udhayanidhi

Post by : Meena Ariff

Veteran actor Kamal Haasan celebrated his 71st birthday with a significant visit from the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M.K. Stalin, along with his son, the actor and Deputy CM Udhayanidhi Stalin. The visit took place at Kamal Haasan's home, where they also had an opportunity to meet his elder brother, Charuhasan.

Kamal shared moments from the visit on Instagram and X (formerly Twitter), expressing his profound connection with the Stalin family. He noted, “Typically, children maintain a certain respectful distance from their father's friends. But my connection with Muthamizharignar (M. Karunanidhi, the former CM and father of MK Stalin) spans nearly three generations, rooted in unconditional grandeur and limitless respect.”

The shared visuals showcased warm moments, including a birthday gift of a painting presented by the CM and DCM. Both MK Stalin and Udhayanidhi took to their social media platforms to wish the celebrated actor a happy birthday.

Recent Projects and Future Endeavors

This year, Kamal Haasan appeared in Mani Ratnam’s gangster film Thug Life, featuring stars like Silambarasan TR, Trisha Krishnan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and Abhirami. While the film met with a lukewarm reception, Kamal is actively involved in various projects.

He is currently producing an upcoming film featuring superstar Rajinikanth under his banner, Raaj Kamal Films International. This anticipated project, directed by Sundar C, is set to begin production soon, with further particulars yet to be announced.

Additionally, Kamal is working on Indian 3, directed by Shankar, although its status has been questioned following the lackluster performance of Indian 2. Recently, it was revealed that Kamal will also star in a film directed by the action director duo Anbariv.
