The eagerly anticipated fantasy action drama Vrusshabha, featuring Mohanlal, has confirmed its release on December 25, 2025, offering fans a spectacular cinematic gift this Christmas. The film promises a rich blend of emotional storytelling, mythology, and stunning visuals, showcasing Mohanlal as a formidable warrior.

In a heartfelt social media post, Mohanlal shared an exciting video filled with glimpses from the film, stating, “Some stories transcend cinema; they become legacies. This Christmas, witness that legacy unfold in Vrusshabha, a celebration of emotion, grandeur, and destiny. Releasing worldwide on December 25, 2025.”

The announcement generated buzz among fans, who expressed admiration for Mohanlal's portrayal and the film’s ambitious scope, deeming it one of his most significant projects.

Initially scheduled for a November 6 launch, the release was pushed back to allow for additional post-production and visual refinement. Mohanlal had previously revealed a teaser and poster, labeling Vrusshabha as “a film that holds great personal significance” and assuring viewers that “the real surprise lies ahead.”

Directed by Nanda Kishore, known for his engaging storytelling style, Vrusshabha stars Shanaya Kapoor, Zahrah S Khan, and Roshann Meka in pivotal roles. The narrative intricately weaves themes of love, destiny, and legacy through a fantastical lens.

With releases in Telugu and Malayalam, along with dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada, the film aims to resonate with audiences across India, delivering a timeless tale of courage and emotion.

With Mohanlal at the forefront and a talented creative team behind it, Vrusshabha is poised to be one of the year’s most visually breathtaking and emotionally resonant films—a fitting holiday treat for fans this Christmas.
