Kicking off on January 1 and running through January 31, Muscat Nights 2026 promises a vibrant assortment of cultural, entertainment, sports, and economic activities throughout Muscat Governorate. This seasonal event aims to deliver an engaging urban experience that appeals to families and visitors from near and far.
Festivities will unfold across various venues, including Al Qurum Natural Park, Al Amerat Public Park, Oman Automobile Association, Royal Opera House Muscat, A’Seeb Beach, Quriyat, Wadi Al Khoud, and local shopping centers. This diverse setting enables attendees to immerse themselves in the celebrations across multiple environments.
The heart of Muscat Nights 2026 centers around “Siraj,” a luminous Omani child who travels through the skies of Muscat. Serving as both the event's narrative and visual representation, Siraj is aimed at enchanting families and children coming from within and beyond Oman.
Al Qurum Natural Park will showcase an impressive fountain and light display that fuses art with technology, featuring water choreography synchronized to captivating music. Daily circus performances at the Oman Automobile Association will captivate audiences with acrobatics, aerial acts, holographic displays, along with interactive educational activities for children encompassing art, astronomy, and games.
Activities for the family include mesmerizing drone shows at Al Qurum, “Masha and the Bear” experiences, amusement rides, daily parades, and performances by both local and global artists. Sporting events will feature cycling, football, volleyball, basketball, martial arts, along with adventure pursuits like drifting, zip-lining, and fitness classes at A’Seeb Beach.
Muscat Nights 2026 also plays host to Oman’s culture, showcasing heritage villages at Al Amerat and Al Qurum, where traditional crafts, folk arts, cuisine, and architectural styles will be displayed. Al Khuwair Square will host Oman Design Week, showcasing artistic installations and engaging designs, while the Royal Opera House will feature a fashion week extravaganza featuring international designers that blend creativity with cultural heritage.
