Lakers, Celtics, Spurs Win in NBA Playoffs

Lakers, Celtics, Spurs Win in NBA Playoffs

Post by : Shakul

In an action-packed night of NBA playoffs, LeBron James delivered a standout performance to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a dramatic 112-108 overtime victory against the Houston Rockets. James scored 29 points, including a crucial three-pointer in the final seconds to force overtime.

The Lakers showed resilience after trailing late in the game, while Marcus Smart contributed eight key points in overtime to seal the win. The Rockets, missing star player Kevin Durant, had led by six points with just 30 seconds remaining but failed to hold on.

With this victory, the Lakers now hold a commanding 3-0 lead in their Western Conference playoff series, putting them on the brink of advancing to the next round. The Rockets now face elimination if they fail to recover in the upcoming games.

In another matchup, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown led the Boston Celtics to a 108-100 win over the Philadelphia 76ers. Both players scored 25 points each, showcasing strong form as the Celtics took a 2-1 lead in their Eastern Conference series.

Tatum’s performance was particularly notable as he continues his return from injury, hitting five three-pointers in the game. Meanwhile, Tyrese Maxey scored 31 points for the 76ers, who are still without Joel Embiid due to recovery from surgery.

In a third game, San Antonio Spurs secured a 120-108 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers despite missing Victor Wembanyama. Stephon Castle led the Spurs with an impressive 33-point performance.

The Spurs staged a strong comeback after trailing by 15 points in the third quarter, with Dylan Harper adding 27 points and 10 rebounds. The win gives San Antonio a 2-1 lead in their playoff series, keeping their momentum alive.

These results highlight the intensity and unpredictability of the NBA playoffs, with teams battling hard for every win as they move closer to the next stage of the competition.
