Television stars Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma, who tied the knot in 2021, have officially filed for divorce. Known for their roles in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, the couple is reported to have been living apart for a while, with official proceedings expected to start soon.
A source revealed, “Neil and Aishwarya have been apart for an extended period. They have made the decision to file for divorce, and official steps will likely commence soon. The origins of their issues are still unclear, but they are indeed parting ways.”
Neither Neil nor Aishwarya has publicly addressed this development.
The couple first met on the sets of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, where their characters, Virat Chavan and Pakhi, had notable chemistry that transformed into a real-life romance, culminating in their 2021 marriage in a small ceremony attended by family and friends.
Post-marriage, they appeared together on programs such as Smart Jodi and Bigg Boss 17, where their relationship was frequently a topic of discussion.
Earlier this year, when rumors of their separation circulated, Aishwarya responded via an Instagram Story, stating,
“I have chosen silence not out of weakness but to maintain my peace. The false narratives being built using my name for sensationalism are extremely hurtful.”
She emphasized that she hasn’t participated in any interviews, stating,
“If any real evidence exists—messages, audio, or video—please share it. Otherwise, please refrain from using my name for gossip. My life isn’t your topic of discussion.”
In concluding her message, she said,
“Just because someone is silent doesn’t imply they have nothing to say. It signifies a choice for dignity over chaos.”
The specific reasons behind Neil and Aishwarya’s split are still under wraps, leaving fans, who viewed them as a beloved couple, anticipating an official remark. Both are concentrating on their ongoing television and digital projects.
Neil Bhatt is celebrated for his work in shows like Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Diya Aur Baati Hum, and Ramayan, while Aishwarya Sharma has gained recognition through Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin and reality television that highlighted her off-screen persona.
