Emirates Health Services operates as a federal body under the UAE Cabinet, focusing on elevating the federal healthcare system's efficiency and ensuring high-quality healthcare delivery throughout the nation.
Key duties encompass developing healthcare policies and standards, establishing and managing hospitals and health centres, and ensuring operational excellence across these institutions.
A significant priority for Emirates Health Services is cultivating national healthcare talent, aiming to retain top medical professionals while bolstering expertise within the sector across the UAE.
The authority is also dedicated to leveraging advanced technology, digital health solutions, and AI to enhance services according to global standards.
Additionally, Emirates Health Services aims to classify federal hospitals as accredited medical education institutions and promote research contributing to healthcare advancement.
The Board of Directors will direct the authority's strategic trajectory, draft general policies for Cabinet ratification, and ensure their execution. They will also sanction operational plans vital for the authority's efficiency.
