The music industry mourns the loss of Ace Frehley, the original guitarist and founding member of KISS, who passed away at the age of 74. According to family representatives, Frehley died peacefully at his residence, surrounded by loved ones, after a recent fall. Celebrated as a musical maestro, Frehley's influence on rock music is profound, and his legendary performances will be remembered by fans for years to come.

In a moving statement released by his family, they expressed, "We are devastated and heartbroken by Ace's passing. We were grateful to surround him in his last moments with love and tranquility." They also noted that Ace Frehley’s remarkable accomplishments will continue to inspire music lovers globally. His artistry reached beyond KISS, influencing countless generations of guitarists with his unique style and electrifying energy.

Forming KISS in 1973 with Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, and Peter Criss, Ace Frehley helped craft a band that would become synonymous with flamboyant stage personas and high-octane performances. His guitar work in hits like “I Was Made for Lovin’ You,” “God of Thunder,” and “Strutter” was pivotal to the band's historic success and solidified his legacy in the annals of rock music.

After departing the band in 1982 due to creative differences and personal challenges, Frehley continued to create music as a solo artist and with his band Frehley’s Comet. He released many albums throughout his career, earning admiration from guitar aficionados. His return to KISS in the mid-1990s reaffirmed the timeless appeal of his talent and charisma.

Survived by his wife, Jeanette, and daughter, Monique, tributes are pouring in from fans around the world, celebrating Frehley's life and contributions to music.
