Parkin Partners with DAMAC: A 5-Year Parking Management Agreement

Parkin Partners with DAMAC: A 5-Year Parking Management Agreement

Post by : Badri Ariffin

Parkin Company PJSC has solidified a significant five-year partnership with DAMAC Properties, marking a substantial growth in its developer parking operations. This collaboration enables Parkin to manage approximately 3,600 parking spaces in various prime residential and commercial areas in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

This alliance is part of Parkin's strategic goal to enhance its footprint in elite real estate locales while optimizing traffic flow and mobility for everyday users. It also signifies Parkin's inaugural venture into the Abu Dhabi parking sector, adding a fresh dimension to its established presence in Dubai.

As part of the project, Parkin will oversee around 500 on-street parking spots in DAMAC Hills 1. Additionally, 2,700 other spaces across 44 towers—spanning Downtown, DIFC, Dubai Marina, Business Bay, and Al Reem Island—will be integrated into Parkin's comprehensive operating framework. These zones rank among the UAE’s most densely populated residential and commercial hubs, necessitating efficient parking solutions for residents and visitors alike.

A key element in this rollout is digital integration. All upcoming managed locations will connect with the Parkin mobile application, granting users access to visitor parking, permits, and related services through a single platform. This initiative aims to facilitate daily navigation and support a more structured flow of short- and long-term parking in DAMAC’s communities.

The implementation phase is set to commence in Q1 2026, involving the deployment and synchronization of advanced technologies, including access control, automatic number plate recognition, and enforcement systems. Parkin's unified technology framework is anticipated to boost efficiency and ensure seamless performance across all new facilities.

Through this partnership, both firms reinforce their dedication to modern, smart-city infrastructure, designed to adapt to the UAE’s expanding urban landscape while ensuring convenience and reliability for users.
