Parkin Company PJSC, recognized as Dubai’s foremost provider of paid public parking solutions, has established a partnership with renowned retailers Spinneys and Waitrose to implement innovative parking management systems at six carefully chosen locations throughout Dubai.
As part of this collaboration, Parkin will oversee the management and operation of these parking facilities, utilizing its proven technological solutions and operational know-how to mitigate congestion and enhance the overall parking experience for shoppers.
Customers frequenting these venues will benefit from two hours of free parking, after which a standard hourly rate will be enforced. This initiative aims to boost space availability and facilitate smoother traffic flow, particularly in high-traffic retail areas.
Each of the six locations will be outfitted with Parkin’s cutting-edge parking management systems, featuring automated entry and exit controls along with seamless enforcement capabilities. The Parkin mobile app will also integrate these facilities, allowing users to effortlessly manage their parking from their smartphones.
Eng. Mohamed Abdulla Al Ali, CEO of Parkin, remarked that this partnership embodies the company's dedication to enhancing urban mobility and consumer convenience. He emphasized that the blend of free parking and smart technology will create a more efficient and enjoyable shopping experience throughout Dubai.
Sunil Kumar, CEO of Spinneys, stated that this collaboration will markedly increase accessibility at some of their busiest sites. He underscored that implementing Parkin’s smart parking technology will streamline traffic flow, rendering store visits more user-friendly for customers.
This partnership represents another milestone in Parkin’s goal of delivering innovative and customer-focused parking solutions, aligning with Dubai’s vision of a smarter and more sustainable urban transport system.
