A strategic alliance has been formed between Abu Dhabi Gaming and ASPIRE to propel artificial intelligence (AI) in game development, reinforcing Abu Dhabi's status as a significant center for creativity, technology, and interactive entertainment.

This agreement was officially signed at the A2RL Summit held at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi by His Excellency Saeed Ali Obaid Al Fazari, Executive Director of the Strategic Affairs Sector at the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), alongside Stephane Timpano, Chief Executive Officer of ASPIRE.

The partnership seeks to merge the growing gaming ecosystem of Abu Dhabi with ASPIRE's cutting-edge research capabilities, fostering innovation within the game development sphere. A particular focus will be on pioneering gamification initiatives and expanding the application of artificial intelligence across the gaming sector.

As part of the Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC), ASPIRE addresses industry challenges by converting breakthrough technologies into viable solutions. This collaboration will enable gaming startups and established studios to access advanced tools, technical expertise, and innovative tech to transform new ideas from concept to market.

His Excellency Saeed Ali Obaid Al Fazari expressed that this cooperation merges world-class research capabilities with Abu Dhabi’s expanding gaming scene, creating avenues for innovation, talent cultivation, and economic diversification. He emphasized how this partnership would assist gaming companies in growth, support creators, and bolster Abu Dhabi's reputation as a global hub for interactive entertainment and the digital economy.

Furthermore, the partnership underlines Abu Dhabi Gaming's dedication to fostering economic growth through creative sectors. It encourages teamwork among UAE-based developers and leading global technology and gaming firms, promoting innovation, knowledge sharing, and industry evolution.

Stephane Timpano, CEO of ASPIRE, remarked that gaming has emerged as a crucial sector for AI and the digital economy, given its dependence on real-time decision-making, advanced simulations, and creative talents. He pointed out that this collaboration aims to expedite AI integration, enhance local capabilities, and promote the creation of scalable intellectual properties.

Both organizations stated that this collaboration illustrates a mutual commitment to establishing Abu Dhabi as a global innovation hub, nurturing talent, fostering pioneering partnerships, and generating world-class intellectual property for international audiences.
