The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has disclosed the operational timings for its health centers throughout the Eid Al Adha holiday, spanning from May 26 to May 30. This initiative is aimed at providing seamless healthcare access for the population in Qatar during this festive period.
Out of its 31 facilities, PHCC confirmed that 21 health centers will remain operational during Eid. Key family medicine and support services will be offered at select centers such as Al Wakra, Airport, Al Mashaf, Al Thumama, Rawdat Al Khail, Al Sadd, West Bay, Leabaib, Umm Salal, Al Rayyan, Muaither, Al Khor, Al Ruwais, Al Sheehaniya, and Al Wajbah.
These services will be available daily from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm, whereas dental services will be provided from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Additionally, PHCC announced that Al Jemailiya Health Center would operate around the clock on an on-call basis during the Eid holiday. In contrast, both Al Karaana and Al Kaaban centers will only manage urgent cases.
According to PHCC, 10 health centers will remain closed throughout the holiday. Furthermore, the home medication delivery service will pause during the first two days of Eid, resuming on the third day.
Specialized services for ophthalmology, dermatology, and ENT will function at Leabaib, Rawdat Al Khail, and Al Mashaf health centers strictly by pre-scheduled appointments, available during both morning and evening sessions.
PHCC also mentioned that premarital screenings, mental health services, and physiotherapy will still be accessible at select health centers on designated dates during the holiday.
Simultaneously, Hamad Medical Corporation will ensure that urgent care services remain available 24/7 at 15 health centers nationwide. Pediatric urgent care will also be on hand at 10 centers, including Al Wajbah, Al Thumama, Leabaib, Muaither, Al Mashaf, Al Sadd, Al Khor, and Rawdat Al Khail.
PHCC emphasized that these arrangements for Eid are designed to sustain access to vital healthcare services while guaranteeing excellence in patient care throughout Eid Al Adha.
