As dawn broke on Eid Al Adha, pilgrims from Muzdalifah initiated the significant stoning ceremony at Jamrat Al Aqaba, a vital component of the Hajj pilgrimage.
This sacred act took place under meticulous security, health, and logistical measures, ensuring that pilgrims could carry out their rites without hindrances.
The Jamarat site managed to handle large crowds effectively, with dedicated monitoring teams and comprehensive strategies in place to optimize pedestrian flow among the holy sites.
Service enhancements in the area included the deployment of ambulances and healthcare personnel, alongside support staff focused on hygiene and guidance, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.
Shuttle buses and the Al Mashaaer Al Mugaddassah Metro facilitated the movement of pilgrims, operating on a fixed schedule to minimize delays and congestion.
The stoning of Jamrat Al Aqaba is a cornerstone of Hajj, conducted after pilgrims rest in Muzdalifah. It precedes other essential rites of the Day of Sacrifice, such as animal sacrifice, hair shaving, and Tawaf Al Ifadah.
