Qatar has issued a strong condemnation of the drone strikes that targeted two border posts in northern Kuwait, which originated from Iraq.
In a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reported by Qatar News Agency (QNA), the assault was labeled a blatant infringement on Kuwait’s sovereignty and a considerable threat to regional stability.
Qatar emphasized that Iraq must assume full accountability to prevent such incidents in the future and to avert any potential regional escalation.
The Ministry reiterated Qatar’s unwavering support for Kuwait, affirming solidarity and backing all measures to ensure its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
