Rajkummar Rao Applauds Huma Qureshi in Maharani Season 4

Post by : Meena Ariff

Ever since its launch, Huma Qureshi’s Maharani Season 4 has captured the hearts of audiences and critics alike. This political drama is renowned for its compelling narrative and outstanding performances, with Huma excelling as Rani Bharti.

In this season, Rani resigns from her position as Chief Minister of Bihar and moves to Delhi to confront the Prime Minister, portrayed by Vipin Sharma. The storyline evolves as she hands over her responsibilities to her daughter, Roshni, delving into themes of power, betrayal, and high-stakes political maneuvering.

Among her admirers is actor Rajkummar Rao, who commended Huma's extraordinary performance. On November 9, he shared the trailer of Maharani 4 on Instagram, praising his close friend. He wrote,

“Maharani is already doing phenomenally well, and now we have Delhi Crime coming. @iamhumaq, you are excelling with all your brilliant work. So proud of you, Dost. Onwards and upwards.”

In response, Huma reshared Rajkummar’s story with the caption,

“Thank you, Raju... means a lot coming from my talented friend,”

showcasing their mutual respect and long-standing friendship.

As Maharani 4 continues to gain traction, Huma is also preparing for her next significant role in Delhi Crime Season 3, debuting on Netflix on November 13, 2025. In this new season, she will portray a darker character known as “Badi Didi,” who manages a human trafficking syndicate. The plot kicks off with the discovery of an abandoned child, leading DCP Vartika Chaturvedi (Shefali Shah) and her team into a tense, multi-state investigation.

Returning stars Rasika Dugal and Rajesh Tailang will join her in addressing pressing issues such as child abuse, corruption, and the quest for justice in contemporary society.
