Rashmika Mandanna, who has been linked to actor Vijay Deverakonda, further fanned speculation with a recent appearance on Jagapathi Babu’s talk show. In the programme’s promo, she was seen wearing several rings that viewers have taken to be engagement jewellery.

During the clip, Jagapathi Babu playfully pointed out the recurring "Vijay" in her life — her friendship with Vijay Deverakonda, admiration for Vijay Sethupathi and fandom of Thalapathy Vijay. Rashmika smiled and acknowledged the significance of her accessories, saying, "These are all very important rings."

Insiders say the pair exchanged rings in a private ceremony on October 3, attended only by immediate family and close friends. The couple is reportedly planning a wedding in February 2026.

Reports intensified after Rashmika posted Dussehra pictures in a traditional saree with a visible tilak, and she thanked fans for their support after the trailer and song of her upcoming film Thamma were released.

Rumours about their relationship first surfaced in early 2023 following an alleged Maldives getaway. Since then, the two have been seen together at film screenings and on trips abroad. Observers noted that Rashmika’s 29th birthday in Oman coincided with Vijay posting images from a similar location, adding fuel to the conjecture.

Their on-screen chemistry and frequent public sightings have kept fans curious, while the couple themselves have remained largely silent about the alleged engagement, maintaining an air of privacy.
