The premiere of Gustaakh Ishq in Mumbai was a star-studded affair, but it was veteran actress Rekha who truly stole the limelight. At 71, she reaffirmed her status as a timeless icon of Indian cinema, turning heads and sparking conversations at the event.

Rekha arrived in a stunning all-black outfit that elegantly merged traditional aesthetics with contemporary flair. Featuring a gorgeous black saree paired with a matching long-sleeved jacket, her unique style made her a standout on the red carpet. The ensemble exuded boldness and grace, showcasing her ability to continually reinvent classic fashion.

Accompanying her outfit, Rekha donned bold gold jewellery, including an impressive necklace, bangles, and earrings. Her signature round sunglasses contributed an additional touch of sophistication. With her hair styled in a neat bun embellished with gajra, her look was quintessentially Rekha. Her makeup was equally striking, with a bold lip and defined eye makeup that enhanced her beautiful features. Fans were also intrigued by her choice to wear sindoor, adding another layer of interest to her appearance.

A touching moment shared on social media featured Fatima Sana Shaikh, the lead actress of the film, running to embrace Rekha, resulting in a warm and genuine exchange that resonated with many attendees. This heartwarming interaction added a personal and emotional dimension to an evening filled with glamour and high-profile guests.

The screening welcomed a plethora of well-known celebrities, including Kajol, Janhvi Kapoor, Farah Khan, Shabana Azmi, Disha Patani, Mouni Roy, Rohit Saraf, and Meezan Jafferi. Notable figures like Ronit Roy, Manoj Bajpayee, Riteish Deshmukh, and Genelia D’Souza were also present, alongside Karan Johar, Neha Dhupia, Shreya Saran, Orry, and Iulia Vantur, making the evening even more exciting.

Gustaakh Ishq marks a significant milestone for Manish Malhotra, renowned for creating exquisite outfits for Bollywood stars. His transition from fashion to film production has sparked considerable attention. The film features Fatima Sana Shaikh and Vijay Varma in pivotal roles, with Naseeruddin Shah offering significant support. Directed by Vibhu Puri, the film includes music by Vishal Bhardwaj, performed by Sunidhi Chauhan, and is currently screening in theaters, having already piqued considerable curiosity.

Rekha's presence at the premiere enhanced the evening with a sprinkle of classic Bollywood charm.
