Meanwhile, captain Virat Kohli anchored the innings with a solid 74 runs, ensuring India finished the game with ease.
Rohit’s century was his 33rd in ODI cricket, showcasing his skill and poise against the Australian bowlers. His precise shot selection and formidable footwork kept the team in command, earning him accolades for his performance under pressure.
Kohli's vital contribution of 74 runs marked his 75th half-century in ODIs. His composed innings was the perfect counterbalance to Rohit's aggression, as he expertly rotated the strike and maintained the momentum needed for victory.
Prior to India’s innings, Australia struggled to amass 236 runs in 46.4 overs. Harshit Rana was exceptional with the ball, taking four wickets and consistently applying pressure on the hosts.
