Bollywood’s iconic superstar Salman Khan turned 60 on December 27, marking the milestone with a grand but heartfelt celebration at his sprawling farmhouse in Panvel. Unlike the usual extravagant star-studded events, Salman chose to keep the occasion intimate, surrounded by close family members and trusted friends, creating a warm and joyous atmosphere for the special day.
The celebrations began just as the clock struck midnight, when Salman stepped out from his farmhouse under tight security to greet the waiting photographers and fans who had gathered outside. In a rare and generous gesture, the actor cut a red-and-white birthday cake alongside the paparazzi, sharing the moment of joy with those who have supported him throughout his illustrious career. Several videos circulating on social media capture Salman warmly interacting with the media, offering cake slices to the photographers, and even sharing a tender embrace and forehead kiss with a member of the press, showcasing his humble and down-to-earth personality despite his superstar status.
The birthday party was attended by Salman’s father, legendary screenwriter Salim Khan, who has been a guiding force in his life and career. Several close friends and acquaintances from the film fraternity were also present, including actress Huma Qureshi, adding a touch of glamour to the intimate gathering. Salman kept his look casual yet stylish, opting for a simple black T-shirt paired with blue jeans, and sported a clean-shaven appearance, presenting a relaxed and cheerful demeanor throughout the evening.
This birthday celebration comes after a busy and eventful year for Salman Khan. He recently made a cameo appearance in the web series directed by Aryan Khan, the son of Shah Rukh Khan, showcasing his willingness to support new talent and diversify his roles. Additionally, Salman hosted the 19th season of the popular reality TV show Bigg Boss, where his presence and charisma once again won over the audience.
Though Salman’s latest film Sikandar did not perform as expected at the box office, the actor remains focused and determined. His fans eagerly await his next big project, Battle of Galwan, which is being directed by Apoorva Lakhia. The film promises to be a gripping retelling of the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers, a rare and intense border confrontation fought without firearms, where troops engaged in brutal hand-to-hand combat using sticks and stones. Alongside Salman, actress Chitrangda Singh will also play a significant role in the movie, which is expected to draw attention for its patriotic theme and powerful storytelling.
Salman Khan’s 60th birthday was not just a celebration of his age but a reflection of his journey, resilience, and enduring connection with his fans and the industry. The evening combined glitz and glamour with genuine moments of warmth, demonstrating the affection and respect the actor commands among those close to him and his admirers worldwide.
