Post by : Rameen Ariff

San Antonio, Texas – A tragic shooting at a landscape supply company left three employees dead on Saturday morning, shocking the community. Authorities identified the 21-year-old shooter, Jose Hernandez Galo, who reportedly succumbed to a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The tragedy unfolded around 8 a.m. at the company’s north-side location. Reports suggest the victims comprised two men and one woman, while other workers narrowly escaped as chaos ensued.

Responding swiftly, the San Antonio Police Department secured the scene and initiated a detailed investigation. Police Chief William McManus indicated that the attack targeted specific individuals, emphasizing that it was not a random act. The motives surrounding the shooting are still being explored.

“Our foremost concern is the safety of our community and understanding the backdrop to this tragedy,” Chief McManus stated during a media briefing.

Investigators are diligently piecing together the events leading up to the incident by interviewing witnesses and examining the site for any clues. Local law enforcement confirmed detectives are on the case, aiming to identify the motive and any potential warning signals.

The San Antonio community is mourning the loss of life, with friends and colleagues commemorating the victims as committed workers. Counseling and support are being made available for those impacted.

This heartbreaking incident brings to light persistent worries regarding workplace safety and gun violence in the U.S. Authorities are calling for anyone with additional information to step forward as they continue their investigations.
