Abu Dhabi and Hanoi are now more connected than ever as Etihad Airways and Vietnam Airlines unveil a new codeshare partnership. This collaboration comes on the heels of Etihad’s recently launched Abu Dhabi-Hanoi service, offering travelers a seamless journey between the Middle East and Vietnam.
With this codeshare, passengers can enjoy the convenience of a single ticket for the entire trip, one check-in, and automatic baggage transfer across both airlines. Abu Dhabi emerges as a central hub, bridging Vietnam with key destinations across the Middle East, Europe, and Africa.
The partnership also opens up Vietnam Airlines’ domestic network and popular Asian destinations to Etihad travelers. On the other hand, Vietnam Airlines passengers gain access to six major destinations via Etihad: Athens, Addis Ababa, Bahrain, Muscat, Cairo, and Istanbul. This significantly expands options for both business and leisure travelers.
Frequent flyer benefits are part of the collaboration, allowing members of both airlines to earn and redeem miles across the combined network. This enhancement provides greater flexibility, broader destination choices, and smoother travel experiences for passengers.
By connecting key cities and offering integrated travel services, this codeshare not only simplifies journeys but also strengthens tourism and economic links between the UAE and Vietnam, reinforcing both nations as vibrant global travel destinations.
