There were many reports online saying that the big movie Tiger vs Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, has been canceled. These reports started after Salman Khan said earlier this year that the film is “not happening” right now.
But now, people close to the film have said these reports are not true. The movie is not canceled and is still in the works. Even the website that first posted the cancellation news has taken down its article.
Tiger vs Pathaan is part of the YRF Spy Universe, a series of action-packed movies. This universe started in 2012 with Ek Tha Tiger, where Salman Khan played a spy named Avinash Singh Rathore, also known as "Tiger". He returned as a Tiger in Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) and Tiger 3 (2023).
Shah Rukh Khan joined the spy world in 2023 with the superhit movie Pathaan. That movie also had a special appearance by Salman Khan, which fans loved.
Another movie in this spy series is War (2019), starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. More films are coming soon, like War 2 and Alpha, which will feature Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh.
Before Tiger vs Pathaan, Shah Rukh and Salman acted together in movies like Karan Arjun (1995), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), and Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam (2002).
Recently, Salman was seen in the movie Sikandar, an action-adventure released on Eid. The film also starred Pooja Hegde but didn’t do as well as expected. Shah Rukh was last seen in Dunki (2023) and will next appear in King, directed by Sujoy Ghosh.
So don’t worry, fans — Tiger vs Pathaan is still happening, and the YRF spy universe is getting even bigger!
