Shah Rukh Khan Stuns in Dubai with Ultra-Rare ₹13 Crore Rolex Watch

Shah Rukh Khan Stuns in Dubai with Ultra-Rare ₹13 Crore Rolex Watch

Post by : Meena Ariff

Shah Rukh Khan ushered in the New Year with unmistakable flair at Dubai’s iconic Burj Park, where a grand eight-day celebration transformed the venue into a spectacle of immersive art, cutting-edge technology, and live entertainment. Hosted by EMAAR, the festivities drew global attention, but it was the presence of the “King of Bollywood” that truly elevated the event’s star power.

Videos from the celebration quickly went viral, capturing Shah Rukh Khan stepping out in a striking all-black ensemble that perfectly matched his timeless charisma. He layered a sleek black leather jacket over a casual T-shirt, paired it with sharply tailored trousers, and completed the look with a black beanie and dark sunglasses. While his outfit exuded effortless cool, it was the watch on his wrist that became the biggest talking point of the night.

SRK was seen wearing the ultra-rare Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Sapphire, a timepiece that sits at the very pinnacle of luxury watchmaking. Crafted in 18-carat white gold, the watch features a 40mm case adorned with 54 brilliant-cut diamonds. Adding to its visual drama is a bezel set with 36 baguette-cut blue sapphires, creating a striking contrast that instantly commands attention. The dial, made from silver obsidian, subtly changes its appearance under different lighting conditions, lending the watch a dynamic and almost mystical character. Completing the design is an 18-carat white gold Oyster bracelet that enhances both comfort and opulence.

Often referred to as the “ghost” watch, the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Sapphire is an off-catalogue creation that never appeared in any public Rolex listings. Introduced for the brand’s most privileged clientele, this exceptional piece from the 2025 Watches and Wonders collection is reserved exclusively for VVIP collectors. Only a handful of these watches are believed to exist worldwide, making it one of the rarest Rolex models ever produced.

The estimated market value of this extraordinary timepiece stands at approximately ₹13.5 crore, translating to over $15 million. Its rarity, combined with its breathtaking craftsmanship, has elevated it to museum-grade collectible status, coveted by elite watch connoisseurs across the globe.

Shah Rukh Khan’s decision to wear such a rare and valuable watch further reinforces his position as not just a global cinema icon but also a definitive style and luxury trendsetter. As Dubai rang in the New Year amid grandeur and celebration, SRK’s appearance — crowned by one of the world’s rarest Rolex watches — ensured the festivities resonated with unmatched glamour, exclusivity, and star power.
