Sharjah Charity's Little Hearts Initiative Aids Bangladeshi Children

Sharjah Charity's Little Hearts Initiative Aids Bangladeshi Children

Post by : Badri Ariffin

Sharjah Charity International (SCI) has successfully implemented its “Little Hearts” initiative in Bangladesh, delivering essential medical assistance to children in need of heart treatment during a humanitarian mission led by Ali Mohammed Al Rashidi.

The initiative was guided by a volunteer medical team led by Dr. Ahmed Al Kamali. Throughout this mission, 65 cardiac catheterisation procedures were performed, and nearly 160 children were assessed at the Heart Diseases Centre located in the capital, Dhaka.

Ali Mohammed Al Rashidi stated that the “Little Hearts” initiative has consistently followed its humanitarian goals since its inception in 2009, offering crucial heart treatment for children whose families are unable to cover costly medical expenses.

This initiative serves as a crucial resource for many children, showcasing SCI’s unwavering commitment to providing specialized healthcare to those in countries grappling with both medical and financial hurdles. He emphasized that the UAE’s humanitarian efforts aim to make significant positive changes in the lives of individuals, alleviating their suffering through effective support and medical care.

Duriing the visit, SCI also launched the Dar Al Rahma Orphan Care Home in the Dubail Sadar Tangail region. This facility features a mosque and provides residential and educational services designed to enhance the living conditions, education, and social stability of orphaned children.

Furthermore, the delegation distributed 100 food baskets filled with vital supplies to assist families and individuals in need.

This initiative underscores the enduring humanitarian contributions of Sharjah Charity International towards bolstering healthcare and social welfare services for vulnerable populations in Bangladesh.
