In a shocking event near the K Towne Plaza in Carrollton, Texas, a suburb just north of Dallas, two individuals lost their lives and three others sustained injuries during a shooting incident on Tuesday morning. According to local authorities, the police confirmed that this was not a random act of violence; the suspect had a personal connection with the victims.

According to Carrollton Police Chief Roberto Arredondo, officers were dispatched after reports of gunfire were received shortly before 10 a.m. Upon arrival, they found multiple individuals injured in the shopping center’s parking lot. The FBI and federal law enforcement joined local police to assist with the investigation, leading to temporary closures of sections of the plaza for evidence collection.
