Kicking off at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the 23rd Dubai International Arabian Horse Championship has commenced, highlighting the UAE’s status as a premier destination for equestrian events.

This year's edition boasts 155 distinguished Arabian horses hailing from 12 different countries, illustrating notable global involvement. On the inaugural day, 18 exceptional horses advanced to the finals, promising a thrilling competition ahead.

Ziad Galadari, Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee, noted that the impressive international presence reflects the global community's faith in the UAE’s organizational prowess. He stressed the nation's commitment to facilitating a secure, world-class setting for top-tier sporting events while honoring the proud heritage of purebred Arabian horses.

The flawless delivery of the championship has drawn widespread acclaim, with organizers ensuring meticulous logistical arrangements. Exhibition spaces were promptly transformed into competitive arenas, showcasing operational excellence. Furthermore, adherence to international animal welfare standards during transport and handling has been prioritized.

Both experts and participants have praised the championship for its continual growth, recognizing it as one of the most esteemed fixtures on the international equestrian calendar.

Beyond being a competition, this championship acts as an essential venue for highlighting top equine talent and fostering international partnerships, while reinforcing Dubai’s standing as a host of world-class sporting events.
