On Friday, actress Shruti Haasan celebrated her father, the iconic Kamal Haasan, as he turned 71. She posted a touching video montage capturing their cherished and playful moments together.

Affectionate Words for Her ‘Beloved Dad’

Shruti expressed, “Happy birthday to my favourite person who also happens to be my amazing appa :)”, highlighting her appreciation for his wisdom, humor, and warmth.

She continued, “Thank you for being the sweetest daddy who still brings me my beloved cookies and treats, the best companion for singing and discussing music and films, and for keeping laughter alive through it all. I hope you achieve all that you aspire to be … your magic, your sparkle, and your beautiful spirit are unmatched … wishing you endless happiness.”

The post featured the iconic Beatles song “Let It Be”, enhancing the emotional resonance of the moment.

Previously, she shared a fun behind-the-scenes video of herself preparing while playfully calling her father, teasing, “Hi Appa, are you still asleep?” She captioned it, “I dedicate almost all my time to my girls, working hard to build our lives while relishing every moment of this wild ride called life and work.”
