The Shura Council participated in a plenary session of the Arab Parliament held at the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in Cairo.
Representatives included HE Amina bint Youssef Al Jaidah, HE Nasser bin Mohammed Al Nuaimi, HE Mubarak bin Mohammed Al Matar Al Kuwari, and HE Ali bin Ahmed Al Kaabi, all of whom are members of both the Shura Council and the Arab Parliament.
Throughout the session, attendees reviewed the outcomes of meetings from the Arab Parliament’s standing committees. Several draft resolutions on pivotal issues were approved.
The deliberations also focused on the topic of Iranian aggression, asserting a firm opposition to any interference in the domestic affairs of Arab nations. Additionally, statements regarding the situations in Syria, Sudan, Yemen, Libya, Somalia, and Lebanon were examined.

These committees addressed an array of political, economic, legislative, and social issues, discussing recent developments in the Arab region, enhancing preventive parliamentary diplomacy, artificial intelligence, support for the Palestinian economy, consumer protection, human rights, among various other pressing topics.
