On Tuesday, Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim, the Speaker of the Shura Council, conducted separate meetings with Arnaud Pescheux, the French Ambassador to Qatar, and Ana Filomena da Costa Rocha, the Portuguese Ambassador.
These discussions emphasized the strong cooperative ties between Qatar and both France and Portugal, particularly in the realm of parliamentary engagement.
The talks also focused on fostering deeper collaboration between the Shura Council and the respective parliaments, which could include boosting parliamentary friendship groups, enhancing mutual visits, and ensuring ongoing coordination within regional and international parliamentary assemblies.
