On Friday afternoon, the much-anticipated trailer for The Family Man Season 3 was released during a major event in Mumbai. This new season sees Manoj Bajpayee reprising his role as the charismatic spy Srikant Tiwari, who is now escaping danger posed by a formidable adversary, portrayed by Jaideep Ahlawat.
Srikant Under Siege
The trailer starts with a shocking moment as Srikant confesses his undercover identity to his family while being hunted down as a wanted man. With a warrant out for his arrest, he must evade capture, relying on his trusted ally JK, played by Sharib Hashmi. The video hints at the suspense surrounding the true architect behind this perilous trap.
New Antagonists and Heightened Tension
The plot thickens with Nimrat Kaur’s character, Meera, scheming against Srikant. She joins forces with a dangerous drug smuggler from the northeast, Rukma, enacted by Jaideep Ahlawat, adding layers of conflict for Srikant to confront.
Viewers have expressed their enthusiasm for the trailer, particularly enjoying the mix of comedy and action that the series is known for. The playful exchanges between JK and Srikant have been especially highlighted, while Jaideep Ahlawat's role as the main villain has garnered significant praise.
Production Insights
It took three years for the third season to come to fruition. Directors Raj & DK expressed gratitude for the audience's patience, assuring fans that the wait has been worth it. They promised heightened action, a compelling narrative, and nerve-wracking suspense to look forward to this season.
Featuring Manoj Bajpayee, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Nimrat Kaur among the cast, the season will also see the return of key actors like Sharib Hashmi, Priyamani, Ashlesha Thakur, Vedant Sinha, Shreya Dhanwanthary, and Gul Panag. The Family Man Season 3 is set for premiere on November 21.
