Tere Ishk Mein stars Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, has made an impressive impact at the Indian box office with a total of ₹76.75 crore over its first six days. Following a robust opening weekend, the film experienced a typical midweek decline, yet it retained steady viewership across major cities.
The earnings included ₹16 crore on Friday, followed by ₹17 crore on Saturday (an increase of 6.25%), and ₹19 crore on Sunday (up by 11.76%). However, Monday saw a drop to ₹8.75 crore (-53.95%), followed by a raise to ₹10.25 crore on Tuesday (+17.14%) and a slight decrease to ₹5.07 crore on Wednesday. The weekend showed remarkable growth, particularly on Sunday, while the weekdays showed mild declines, a typical trend among audiences.
The film’s occupancy varied, with Chennai and Jaipur leading at 16%, Lucknow at 15.33%, while Mumbai, Pune, and NCR ranged from 12% to 13%. Other cities like Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Surat, and Bhopal showed occupancy between 5.33% and 11.67%. Morning and afternoon screenings had occupancy rates of 4% to 18%, with evening shows slightly better, while night screenings had challenges at 0%. Chennai hosted 57 shows, and NCR led the way with 1,296 shows, reflecting audience preferences across cities.

Rai, Tere Ishk Mein follows the tumultuous love story of Shankar (Dhanush), a passionate Air Force pilot, alongside Mukti (Kriti Sanon), a psychologist tasked with his treatment. Their college love evolves into a tale of obsession, betrayal, and heartbreak when Mukti departs, crafting a potent emotional narrative.
