Thailand Minister Meets Youth Democracy Group

Post by : Shakul

Thailand’s Government House witnessed an important interaction as Minister attached to the Prime Minister’s Office, Paradorn Prisnanantakul, welcomed a group of young democracy activists during their official study visit on April 22, 2026.

The delegation was led by Kulapol Watcharakarn along with officials from the Secretariat of the House of Representatives, and the meeting took place at the Santi Maitri Building within Government House.

According to Ratchada Thanadirek, the minister congratulated the youth and stated that the visit would help them better understand the roles and responsibilities of the executive branch and the functioning of the government.

He explained that Government House serves as the central hub for national administration, where cabinet meetings, state ceremonies, and receptions for foreign leaders are conducted, making it a vital place for learning about governance.

The minister also praised the 200 young participants who were selected from across the country through a rigorous process, highlighting their potential and dedication toward contributing to society.

He emphasized that such activities during student life are important for developing teamwork, leadership skills, and social understanding, all of which are essential for future success in various fields.

He further encouraged the youth to make the most of their education by gaining knowledge, experience, and achievements that would help them take on important roles in politics, governance, and other sectors in the future.

The program also provides participants with the opportunity to observe real sessions of the House of Representatives, giving them valuable insight into the legislative process and the role of elected representatives.

In conclusion, the minister stated that such initiatives not only provide knowledge but also help build networks and lasting friendships, expressing confidence that these young individuals will play significant roles in the country’s future.
