The horror-comedy movie Thamma, featuring notable actors Rashmika Mandanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Ayushmann Khurrana, is thriving at the box office. By the sixth day, Thamma's collection soared to ₹13 crore, bringing its total to ₹91.70 crore in India. The film, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films, has emerged as a key player in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe.
As reported by industry analyst Sacnilk, Thamma experienced a notable uptick over the weekend after a brief dip during the week, achieving a 23.19% occupancy rate in Hindi showings on Sunday, showcasing its strong audience retention. Its captivating combination of supernatural elements, heartfelt storytelling, and humor keeps fans engaged, sustaining its box office momentum across theaters.
Thamma's earnings have already outstripped the total lifetime collections of Varun Dhawan's Bhediya (₹68.99 crore) and Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari (₹60.35 crore). On its fifth day, the film brought in ₹13.1 crore, reflecting a 31% rise from Friday's ₹10 crore, indicative of its growing praise from audiences.
Thamma has made impressive strides globally, surpassing the ₹100 crore milestone by its fifth day of release, solidifying its success in both domestic and international markets. With its international allure, surprise cameos, and strong performances by the star cast, the film has become a major draw for audiences.
Set against a backdrop of a gripping love story, Thamma marks the fifth entry in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe series, following hits like Stree, Bhediya, Munjya, and Stree 2. With its compelling mix of suspense, comedy, and emotion, Thamma is not just leading the box office but is on track to become one of Bollywood's standout successes of 2025.
