Rahul Ravindran's film The Girlfriend, featuring Rashmika Mandanna, has shown impressive box office results over its opening weekend.
Box Office Results
In its initial two days, the film amassed Rs 3.8 crore, followed by an estimated Rs 3 crore on the third day. This brings the total earnings in India across all languages to a significant Rs 6.8 crore. As per reports from Sacnilk, the Telugu version is the top performer, boasting an occupancy rate of 37.27% on Sunday, especially at afternoon and evening screenings, which hit nearly 46%.
Story Summary
The Girlfriend centers on Bhooma (Rashmika Mandanna), a character grappling with love, independence, and the trials of a complex relationship. Directed by Rahul Ravindran, the film delves into different stages of love, appealing to anyone who has been through similar experiences.
