In a heartbreaking event that unfolded in Toronto, a baby was discovered unresponsive in a car on Monday, resulting in the child's death. This incident occurred in the city's east end, specifically near Queen Street East and Pape Avenue.
Emergency services received a distress call at approximately 4:45 p.m., prompting a swift response from police, firefighters, and paramedics. Their immediate goal was to administer life-saving efforts to the child.
The infant was rushed by ambulance to a local hospital, where medical professionals continued attempts to stabilize the child. Unfortunately, despite vigorous efforts, the child was declared deceased shortly thereafter. Authorities expressed deep sorrow over the incident.
Duty Inspector Scott Bradbury addressed the media at the scene, confirming the tragic outcome and noting that the baby’s parents were at the hospital during this trying time. Further specifics surrounding the incident have yet to be disclosed.
