The UAE has conveyed its condolences to Spain in the wake of a devastating train accident in southern Spain, which has resulted in the loss of at least 40 lives and left many others injured.
In a formal release, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) expressed its heartfelt sympathies to the families affected, the Spanish government, and all of Spain. The UAE also hoped for a swift recovery for the individuals wounded in this unfortunate event.
As reported by Reuters, authorities are still searching for 43 individuals who remain unaccounted for after the incident. An investigation is underway, with preliminary thoughts suggesting a possible defect in a rail joint.
This incident has deeply affected the nation, leading emergency response teams to engage in continuous search and rescue efforts.
