UAE Government Annual Meetings 2025 Open in Abu Dhabi

UAE Government Annual Meetings 2025 Open in Abu Dhabi

Post by : Rameen Ariff

Abu Dhabi — The seventh edition of the UAE Government Annual Meetings began on Tuesday in Abu Dhabi, presided over by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Taking place from November 4 to 6, the high-level forum brings together more than 500 senior representatives from federal and local entities to align strategies, assess progress and accelerate national priorities.

This year’s programme emphasises emerging sectors such as artificial intelligence, healthcare, investment and family welfare — pillars that underpin the UAE’s sustainable development and international competitiveness.

Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, highlighted that the meetings demonstrate the government’s commitment to proactive governance and improving citizens’ quality of life, noting the sessions are structured to enhance innovation, institutional coordination and national unity.

Key activities include strategic briefings, leadership roundtables and a dedicated session on the UAE’s global narrative. Organisers also expect several new initiatives to be announced during the event.

The closing programme will feature awards recognising achievements in culture, creativity and artificial intelligence, celebrating teams that have contributed significantly to national progress.

Established in 2017, the UAE Government Annual Meetings serve as a national platform to synchronize government action and drive the objectives of the ‘We the UAE 2031’ strategy and the UAE Centennial 2071 vision.
