The General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA) is embarking on a transformative journey by establishing a strategic partnership with Core42, a G42 company excelling in sovereign cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. This collaboration was announced during GPSSA's presence at GITEX Global 2025, signifying the UAE's ambition to lead in smart government initiatives.
This alliance will focus on creating a cutting-edge data and AI platform, tailored to refine customer experiences and provide decision-makers with in-depth insights through sophisticated data analysis. By harnessing AI and cloud technologies, GPSSA intends to optimize operations, bolster service delivery, and ensure proactive governance that meets the expectations of citizens and employers alike.
Faras Al Ramahi, the Director-General of GPSSA, highlighted the groundbreaking nature of the collaboration: “This strategic move aligns with our leadership’s vision for the government of the future. Partnering with Core42 allows us to build a smart, AI-enhanced system that revolutionizes citizen services and supports the objectives of the Zero Government Bureaucracy initiative and the National AI Strategy.”
This MoU supports the UAE’s sovereign cloud strategy, ensuring all sensitive pension and social security data is securely managed within national borders. The partnership guarantees adherence to the highest data protection standards, digital governance, and compliance with the “We the Emirates 2031” initiative. Core42 will utilize its AI platform to generate future applications, enabling GPSSA to offer proactive and customized government services.
Kiril Evtimov, CEO of Core42, commented on the partnership: “Our collaboration with GPSSA illustrates the strength of secure digital infrastructure.
