Post by : Maya Rahman

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates, has expressed his deep sorrow and sympathy to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, following the passing of Princess Haifa bint Turki bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Kabir of Saudi Arabia. The UAE President sent a formal message to King Salman, extending heartfelt condolences to the royal family and the people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Sheikh Mohamed’s message reflected his deep respect for the Saudi royal family and the long-standing brotherly relations between the two nations. He prayed to Allah Almighty to grant the late Princess eternal peace and to give her family patience and strength during this difficult time.

Following the President’s message, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, also sent a message of condolence to King Salman. Sheikh Mohammed’s message expressed his profound sympathy, reaffirming the shared sorrow of the UAE leadership and its people over the loss.

In his message, Sheikh Mohammed emphasized the strong historical and fraternal ties between the UAE and Saudi Arabia, which go beyond politics and are built on mutual faith, shared destiny, and deep cultural bonds. He prayed for mercy for the late Princess and patience for the Saudi royal family.

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, also extended a similar message to King Salman. His Highness expressed solidarity with the Saudi leadership and the royal family, noting that the grief of their brothers in Saudi Arabia is shared by the entire Emirati nation.

The condolences from all three UAE leaders highlighted the close brotherhood and strategic partnership between the two nations. The UAE and Saudi Arabia have a long history of unity and cooperation in all fields—political, cultural, economic, and humanitarian. The exchange of condolences at such moments of sorrow symbolizes the depth of mutual respect and affection between the royal families.

The UAE leadership’s swift and heartfelt messages demonstrated their genuine compassion and unwavering support for the Saudi royal family during this period of mourning. These gestures serve as a reminder that the friendship between the two nations is not only political but also deeply personal and human.

Princess Haifa bint Turki bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Kabir was a respected member of the Saudi royal family, known for her grace, kindness, and dedication to charitable and social causes. Her passing has brought sorrow across the Kingdom, with prayers and condolences pouring in from leaders and citizens alike.

The Saudi Royal Court earlier announced her death and offered prayers for her soul, with funeral rites held in accordance with Islamic tradition. The royal family received condolences from across the Arab and Islamic world, reflecting her respected position in society.

The messages from the UAE leadership also reaffirmed a shared belief in compassion, unity, and faith during times of loss. The exchange of condolences between the two nations underscores their commitment to maintaining brotherly ties built upon trust, shared values, and a common vision for regional stability and prosperity.

As the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia mourns the loss of Princess Haifa, the UAE stands in solidarity, extending heartfelt prayers and sympathy. The strong emotional connection between the leadership and people of both countries continues to be a guiding example of Arab unity and shared humanity.
