In a recent global survey commissioned by Arada, the UAE has been recognized as the premier destination for property investment. This comprehensive research underscores the nation's increasing attractiveness to international investors amid ongoing regional tensions.
The UAE Property Investment Index, carried out by the US firm Penta Group, involved feedback from 689 prominent property investors across 12 significant international markets in April. It stands as one of the first extensive analyses of global investor sentiments towards the UAE real estate sector.
Notably, 56% of global investors expressed a keen interest in the UAE’s real estate market, leading all surveyed countries. The United States follows closely at 54%, with the United Kingdom at 41%, France at 28%, and Spain at 27%.
The survey further highlighted that 51% of participants were already aware of investment possibilities in the UAE property sector, matching the familiarity levels of the UK (51%) and the US (53%).
Investor confidence remains particularly strong from key regional areas, with the UAE being recognized as a top investment choice by 91% of Indian investors, 92% of Egyptian investors, and 85% of Saudi investors.
European investors also favored the UAE as their number one overseas property investment spot. The survey revealed that 63% of French investors, 60% of German investors, and 57% of Swiss investors chose the UAE as their top outside option.
Key influencing factors for buying decisions globally included strong investment returns, underscored by 38% of respondents. This was especially significant for investors from Australia (57%), Spain (56%), and the UK (41%).
Safety and stability emerged as crucial motivators as well, with 65% of Chinese investors and 58% of German investors citing these traits as primary incentives for investing in the UAE.
The UAE's welcoming investment climate bolsters its allure, with 34% of all respondents noting the ease of property transactions, which jumped to 57% among Saudi investors and 41% among Egyptian investors.
Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, Group CEO of Arada, commented that these results mirror the company's own sales experiences, reflecting that international investors continue to appreciate the UAE's robust regulatory environment, proven market performance, and stable economic conditions that promote long-term investment assurance.
These findings reaffirm the UAE's status as one of the most enticing real estate investment markets globally, fueled by attractive returns, economic resilience, investor-friendly laws, and escalating worldwide demand.
