Abu Dhabi — Representing President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, today presided over the inauguration of the third ordinary session of the 18th legislative term of the Federal National Council (FNC). In attendance were His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, along with various Crown Princes, Deputy Rulers, top officials, dignitaries, and members of the diplomatic community, highlighting the significance of this annual assembly.
The session commenced with the reading of Federal Decree No. (151) of 2025, issued by the President, officially convening the session. The ambiance was formal and concentrated, projecting an anticipation for another year of national progress.
FNC Speaker His Excellency Saqr Ghobash provided a comprehensive opening speech, underscoring that 2025 stands out as an exemplary year for the UAE.
