UAE Bestows First Class Order of Independence on UK Ambassador

In a significant gesture, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan awarded the First Class Order of Independence to Edward Hobart, acknowledging his pivotal role in reinforcing the bonds between the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom during his time as ambassador.

The esteemed honor was conferred by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan in a meeting in Abu Dhabi.

Sheikh Abdullah commended Ambassador Hobart for his dedication to fostering strategic partnerships and enhancing bilateral relations between the UAE and the UK across multiple areas. He also extended his best wishes for the ambassador's future diplomatic endeavors.

Ambassador Edward Hobart expressed heartfelt thanks to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed for this prestigious accolade. He highlighted the robust and continually evolving relationship that exists between the UAE and the UK.

Additionally, he appreciated the support and collaboration from UAE government bodies and officials throughout his tenure.

This award symbolizes the enduring diplomatic friendship and strong ties linking the UAE and the UK.
