In a recent phone call, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, engaged with Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Bahrain's Foreign Minister, to address pressing regional issues.
Both officials condemned the missile and drone assaults from Iran that targeted Bahrain, labeling these actions a critical threat to the security and stability of the region.
Sheikh Abdullah emphasized the UAE's steadfast support for Bahrain, endorsing all initiatives the Bahraini government is undertaking to secure its sovereignty and protect its citizens and residents.
He remarked that the stability of Bahrain is intrinsically tied to the security of both the UAE and the broader Gulf area, underscoring the robust connections and mutual interests that bind Gulf Arab nations.
The conversation further highlighted the necessity of fostering regional tranquility and backing measures that bolster security throughout the Gulf.
