War widens as Riyadh embassy hit oil hubs struck & evacuations

War widens as Riyadh embassy hit oil hubs struck & evacuations

Post by : Shakul

The conflict between the United States, Israel and Iran has sharply escalated, with fresh military and diplomatic incidents reported across the Middle East. A suspected Iranian drone strike hit the US Embassy compound in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, early Tuesday, causing a small fire and minor damage. Saudi officials said there were no casualties, but security alerts and precautionary measures were raised in cities such as Riyadh, Jeddah and Dhahran.

At the same time, the Israeli military said it is continuing strikes on what it describes as Iranian and Hezbollah-linked targets in Lebanon and Tehran. Evacuation warnings have been issued for dozens of locations in Lebanon as fears grow that the conflict could widen further. Hezbollah has also launched rockets and drones toward northern Israel, increasing tensions along the border.

Iranian authorities say hundreds of civilians have been killed in US-Israeli strikes across more than 100 cities. In response, the United States and Israel have expanded their air campaign, targeting Iranian command centers, missile systems and intelligence facilities.

The conflict is also affecting global energy markets. Iranian drones reportedly targeted Saudi Arabia’s Ras Tanura oil refinery, temporarily disrupting operations at the major facility. Concerns over potential threats to shipping routes, especially through the Strait of Hormuz, have pushed oil prices higher as markets fear supply disruptions.
